Bidwell's Towing is celebrating 50 Years of Serving Ingersoll and Area - 1974-2024

Started in 1974, this family-owned business has been Ingersoll's go to Towing Provider, helping motorist with all their towing needs. We have been a part of many rescues over the years hoping we have made your bad day a little better.

As a proud supporter of our community, we have participated in numerous community events, sponsored all ages of sports teams. Brad was a part of the Molson Indy Race Recovery Team for 8 years, a member of the inaugural Board of Directors for the Provincial Towing Professional Towing Association of Ontario.

We have seen many changes in the Towing industry - everything from our equipment, increased volume of traffic on roadways to regulations for the betterment of the consumer.

Trailer hitch attachment new is $450,my includes pintle hook if you need for $400,$350 without pintle hook.

In response to so many well wishes , we would like to give a small update :

Brad ‘s parents -Janet and Jerry Bidwell started this company 50 years ago . Jerry saw the opportunity with the 401 being on his front door step.

The Bidwell Family have raised our children and now grandkids in this community. Along with working in the business, I worked for a local seniors non profit for 25 years.

With these ties to the community, we would not be successful without being honest , hard working , and integrity to our customers.

We are also successful due to the dedication of our small staff: Tracy Lewis, Pete Dona , Ian McClintock and our back up drivers : Matt Daltrey, Jamie Pinney and Paul Lewis

Have there been changes in the industry-absolutely!! But that is not the only reason to choose retirement.

It’s not a career for the faint of heart -24 hrs/7 days , all types of weather, all types of customers .

However we are grateful for our regular customers who have trusted over the 50 years .

We are not gone yet and until then -we will continue to offer our great service to those in need.
