5 stars ≠ luxury ⬇️

When it comes to Mexico all inclusive resorts, a 5-star rating doesn’t automatically mean the resort will feel luxurious.

Stars are often based on amenities… not necessarily the service, atmosphere, food or those little details that make a resort feel special.

Because honestly? A resort can have 5 stars and still leave you underwhelmed.

Service. Food. Vibe. Attention to detail.

THAT’S what can make a resort feel luxurious.

So if you’re looking for a luxury resort in Mexico don’t just look at the stars.

Save this for your next resort search 🌴

But there’s a reason…

When you start with “What’s the best resort?” you’re suddenly comparing hundreds of options without even knowing which ones are actually a good fit for your family.

I’d much rather start with you. Your budget, dates, family, priorities and what you actually want out of the trip.

Then we find the best resort.

Don’t want to get soaked on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure? Sit in the back.

Don’t want to get soaked on Grizzly River Run? We have no advice for that. 😂

Our before vs. after says it all.

Pro tip: If you’re staying at Disney’s Grand Californian, Grizzly River Run is right by the hotel’s park entrance making it easy to pop back and change if you end up completely drenched. And if you’re not staying there you’ll find complimentary lockers near the ride to stash anything you don’t want getting soaked.

So what’s your strategy?
