One of mine and my kids favourite things to do before a Disney trip! 🏰✨

Before we go they save up their own money and each buy a Disney gift card to take with them.

Once we’re at Disney, that’s their spending money to use however they want.

Souvenirs? Snacks? Something they’ve been eyeing all trip? Totally up to them!

I love that it gives them something to look forward to before we even leave, teaches them a little bit about budgeting and means they get to make their own choices once we’re there.

If you’re taking your kids to Disney, this is one little tradition I highly recommend trying!

If sitting at the same resort pool for 7 days sounds like your version of a vacation nightmare… we need to talk about Hotel Xcaret.

This was one of the things I loved most about staying here. I could have a slow morning, enjoy the resort and do absolutely nothing if I wanted to…

But I also had the option to get out and actually do something without giving up the all inclusive experience.

With access to the Xcaret parks and tours, every day was completely different.

And honestly, that’s the kind of all inclusive I’m looking for.

Not every serious conversation is bad news… sometimes it’s reminding my husband that Disneyland ticket prices go up in October. 😂
