Travel sipper❤️ I’ve been thinking about travel mugs that fit into cup holders so I made a prototype. It’s so beautiful that I’m keeping it for my own travels, with intention to make many more just as gorgeous. The last fire dripped and made a mess of my kiln shelves but I still managed to get some beautiful pots. I’ll share pictures soon!

Piping on the final glaze on a batch of bisque. There are four different glazes on these pieces. Some areas have 6 layers! It’s certainly not a quick process. I’ll open the kiln and show you how they turn out in a few days. Today I load. Tomorrow I fire. It will take a whole day for my big kiln to cool. The day after I can reveal ☺️ .

Fair warning, if you venture out to my shoppe to take in some beautiful pottery today, your nose will be assaulted with some serious farm smells. The field behind us has been thoroughly fertilized! The ammonia is drifting but it should only last a couple days. Meanwhile, the neighbours and I have scented candles lit in the middle of the summer heat. 😂🥴

T’is the season …to be enjoying the wonderful weather and the great outdoors. Has your experience been spoiled by those little flying pests? Mosquito coil burners to the rescue. I have a nice variety right now, but they are popular this time of year .

I have a few garlic graters available. Customer feedback tells me that you can grate your garlic, with or without the skin. You can add oil to the mush, or water. Very user friendly and washes up easily too. This one sports a newly formulated clear glaze that seems to fit the granite clay beautifully! I’ll be glazing a few mugs this way so I can see if people appreciate the granite look as much as I do.

I had some fun figuring out the vortex berry bowls. I wish I had made a dozen of them! I didn’t realize they would be so popular! I have 2 white ones available right now.
