Hear me out for a second.

Disney’s Deluxe resorts are incredible: location, theming, service… all of it.

But if what you’re actually after is true luxury, this is where I look.

📍Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort
It’s the only AAA Five Diamond hotel on Disney property and you feel the difference immediately.

And you’re not giving anything up to stay here.

You still get:
• early theme park entry
• Minnie Van pickup right from the resort
• and an in-house version of Magic Kingdom’s most in-demand makeover experience

So this isn’t about which hotel is “better.”

It’s about what you want your trip to feel like.

→ Send this to the person you’re planning Disney with
→ Or message me if you want help deciding what actually fits your family

“We want a beach resort that’s safe for celiacs.”

Last year I was at a gluten free event and someone mentioned there was a resort celiacs should NEVER stay at. They had a genuinely poor experience, and they were very clear about why it didn’t work for them.

Here’s the interesting part: I’ve had clients stay at the exact same resort and it was a great fit.

So who was right?

Both of them.

Celiac travel isn’t about finding a universally “safe” resort. It’s about expectations: comfort level, dining style, flexibility, and what will make or break a trip for you.

That’s why I don’t give blanket recommendations. I ask detailed questions and match travellers to resorts that align with their needs, not someone else’s.

If you’re planning travel with celiac (or without!) and want guidance that’s based on experience and honest expectation-setting, send me a DM or email [email protected]

Group travel 101: how to travel with your extended family without pulling your hair out before you even pack your bags...😂

➡️ One of the biggest trends from 2025 that’s continuing into 2026 is group and multi-generational travel. Families are prioritizing time together and experiences over things.

Cruises and all-inclusive resorts can be a great middle ground offering independence while still creating natural moments to come together. Fit is important but not impossible.

Once you land on the right spot for your group, the next challenge is getting it booked.

🛑 A common misconception is that travelling as a group automatically lowers the price. Sometimes it does, but more often the real benefit is pricing stability, helping you step away from the constant ups and downs of individual dynamic pricing.

Maximizing value and your time together is where group travel really shines.

If you’ve got a trip stuck in a group chat and want to see it land on your calendar, I’m always happy to chat.

How easy is it to eat gluten-free as a celiac at Universal Orlando compared to Walt Disney World?

It's good - but different.

Competing with the gluten-free gold standard down the road is no easy feat but Universal is up to the challenge. You just need to know where to look. 👀

Woke up to a very special neighbour in Port Canaveral this morning! The Disney Adventure is making a brief stop in Orlando before heading on to Los Angeles and Tokyo before reaching its home port in Singapore!

The Disney Adventure is the largest ship in the fleet will offer 3 and 4 night itineraries around Asia. It will feature brand new Marvel and Pixar themed areas and will have the very first rollercoaster at sea for the fleet!

I often have parents of celiac children ask me where they can go and just not worry about finding kid-friendly celiac safe food.

My number one answer is always, Walt Disney World or Disney Cruise Line.

If you've been here for a while you know Disney Destinations are my first travel love. While other destinations CAN and WILL offer you incredible gluten free food experiences - no one does EASE quite like Disney.

Gluten free chicken fingers? Yes. Mickey waffles? Absolutely. Pizza? You bet.

This is where your celiac kid will feel like a regular kid.

The Celiac Cruise...should you book it?

If I had a dime for every time I've been asked this question. And I get why - it's right there in the name!

The answer? Well that all depends. The Celiac Cruise is a group booking on a Royal Caribbean ship where you have access to ONE dining room where all of the food is gluten free and the crew in that space have been trained in proper cross contamination prevention protocol. It's like having your own gluten free buffet. Pretty awesome!

But I want to be clear: the entire ship is NOT gluten free, only one dining room. It is a regular Royal Caribbean sailing too - the Celiac Cruise hasn't bought out the entire ship, only a portion of staterooms.

Full disclosure: I cannot book you on the Celiac Cruise. This is a group booking on a variety of Royal Caribbean ships led by a travel advisor in the United States.

Does that mean I think it's bad? Absolutely not. In fact, I'm really glad it exists. If you're extremely nervous about travelling with celiac and want to dip your toes in the travel waters with these guardrails in place I say, go for it.

But by no means are you limited to these options - not even close.

I assist my clients with travel on multiple ocean and river cruise lines where they have phenomenal gluten free dining experiences. If you're ready to branch out and sail beyond the Celiac Cruise, I'm always here to chat.

“Being able to eat everywhere was a dream come true.”

When this couple first reached out, their #1 concern was not gluten-free food (even though one of them has celiac disease). This was their first trip away from their kids, planned to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. What mattered most was feeling safe, easing travel nerves and choosing the right destination to celebrate each other in peace.

My role was to take the stress out of every decision and deliver a relaxed, luxurious beach getaway where gluten-free dining was handled confidently and with ease.

And yes… it absolutely delivered.

If you’re thinking about a beach vacation and want support that goes beyond “here’s a resort,” I’m always happy to have a thoughtful, no-pressure conversation.

👀 A closer look at a brand-new Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres opening January 15!

This new Majestic resort is visually family-leaning, but it isn’t what I’d call a typical family setup.

The split between the adults-only Mirage and Family Club changes the overall feel more than most people expect - it's over 75% adults-only - and that can have a real impact on room choice, dining flow, and the day-to-day vibe of the resort.

This could be the perfect fit for the right guest, and not the right choice for others. As always, what you're looking for matters more than hype.

Happy to share what I’d weigh before recommending this, just ask!
