✈️ A Special Ride for a Very Special Captain ✈️

This may have been the last PPC that Captain Keith Lacey will complete, but thankfully, it’s certainly not the end of his flying career with us!

After an incredible 60+ years of flying, Keith continues to share his experience, knowledge, and passion for aviation, and we’re fortunate to have him flying with us for at LEAST one more year.. It was especially fitting that Chief Pilot Lyndon Rowe had the pleasure of accompanying Keith on this ride.

Also along for the PPC was ACP Colby Mitchell, who was previously a pilot with Evas, making this an extra-special gathering of past and present aviators.

There are some flights that are more than just a flight — they’re a celebration of a career, a friendship, and a lifetime spent in the skies.

Thank you, Keith, for the countless hours, the memories, and the legacy you’ve built over the years.

Here’s to many more hours in the sky, Keith! ✈️

We are pleased to welcome our newest captain of EVAS Air, Tejaswi Kambhampati!🛩

Tejaswi came to GFT for flight training in 2018 and finished the course in 2020. He then started instructing as a class 4 instructor in 2021 and became a class 2 instructor, as well as an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor. He then moved on to EVAS in 2025.

Congratulations Tejaswi! We are so excited to have you as part of the EVAS Air team.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our former colleague and dear friend.

While no longer with Evas Air, David remained a cherished member of our extended family. His dedication, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on so many of us.

The friendships built during his time with our company extended far beyond the workplace and will never be forgotten.

Today, we remember not only a valued team member, but someone who helped shape the culture and spirit of Evas Air. We are grateful for the memories, the laughter, and the time we shared together.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched during this difficult time.

Erika is a graduate of GFT: Gander Flight Training and has since completed all required EVAS training. She now joins our flight operations team fully prepared to begin her duties in this position.
