Road Builders Association Announces $50,000 Donation to Frank Wilson Scholarship Fund

The New Brunswick Road Builders & Heavy Construction Association is proud to announce a $50,000 donation to the Frank Wilson Scholarship Fund, reinforcing its commitment to education, workforce development, and the future of the road-building industry. Frank was an Honouary Life Member of our Association, Past Dean of Engineering at UNB as well as the Co-Founder of the UNB Transportation Group. Frank passed away earlier this year.

This contribution will help the scholarship fund support students pursuing education and training connected to the industry. By reducing financial barriers and encouraging the next generation of skilled professionals, the donation will help strengthen the workforce and build lasting capacity for the future.

“This donation reflects our belief that investing in students is an investment in the long-term strength of our industry. We are honoured to support the Frank Wilson Scholarship Fund and the opportunities it creates for future road-building professionals.”

The Road Builders Association extends its appreciation to everyone who supports the Frank Wilson Scholarship Fund and shares its commitment to developing skilled, knowledgeable leaders for the industry.

When it comes to highway safety, we are all on the same team.

Construction season is underway and with our partners New Brunswick Road Builders, WorkSafeNB / Travail sécuritaire NB and the New Brunswick Construction Safety Assoc., we are reminding motorists to slow down, heed posted speed limits, and exercise caution when driving in and around construction zones.

Slowing down in highway construction zones ensures everyone gets to go home to their family at the end of the day.
