Not everyone will appreciate their images being shared, which I learned through a recent experience.

It never feels great to be approached by someone who isn’t happy with something you’ve done, especially when it was done from a positive, sincere and honest place.

[ especially ESPECIALLY when you’re a softy still learning to take criticism 😬 ]

Which is why it’s important to be considerate when you share pictures you didn’t take yourself.

To avoid stepping on any toes, always check in with the owner of the image before you post just to make sure they’re cool with it! 😎

Scared to ask for help or think you need to do it all?

Think again.

& think about how YOU feel when someone asks you for help - you feel good, right?

Here are three ways to ask for help in business:

1. KNOW YOUR WORTH - It can be hard to ask for help when you feel unworthy. So from one small business owners to another: You and your business hold value and are DESERVING of help. What do you need help with?

2. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX: There are ways to ask for help that don’t involve asking for money or free stuff. Other options: Trade services, municipal/provincial/federal small business resources, collab with other small business, make investments where necessary (like hiring a social media content creator! - shameless plug), and ask for advice from businesses like yours that are killing it - people love to give advice.

3: ASK! Ask for boundaries to be met by family members and employees. Ask for support. Talk about the things you need help with - the more people who know you need help, the more information and help@you will receive!
