Candidates Must Have:

A safety-first mindset
Ability to document complaints, causes, and corrections using keyboard functions
310T Licensed
Able to follow Freightliner troubleshooting procedures to diagnose and repair engine codes
Can perform regular repairs with little or no supervision, e.g. wheel seal, suspension work, wiring, etc
Ability to move a tractor around the yard, into a bay, and over a pit safely
Knows how to weld using stick and/or mig
Active listening skills and taking direction from the supervisor
Must have a good array of tools
Punctual and able to complete repairs on time while ensuring quality deliverables
A positive attitude, and willingness to be a part of a strong team focused on Getting the Job Done Right While Kicking Ass and Having Fun!
What will your day look like:

Monday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 1:00 am
Perform running repairs on all vehicles
Perform PM services using electronic checklist
Perform minor and major repairs in house
Service calls when needed
Shop repairs as required
Daily clean up of work area

*What will your day look like:*

* Set up trailer at the farm for it to be loaded with poultry
* Loading pays $75-$106 / trailer, which gets you to top of pay range
* Managing the load, following animal welfare requirements
* Tarping, chaining, and strapping of trailers
* Accurate weighing of empty and loaded cargo for processing
* Communication with dispatch, foreman and farmers daily
* Completion of paperwork, including paper logs and bill of ladings
* Limited overnight trips in Ontario, but no border crossings or long-haul destinations
*Pre-requisite's for the Job:*

* Must have AZ licence
* Clean Abstract and CVOR
* Must be willing to work flexible shifts
* Must be willing to handle poultry
* Strong work ethic with the drive to be part of a growing company
* Punctual and reliable

Riverdale is looking for experienced 310T Mechanics to join our shop in Elmira, ON. Apprentices with experience will be considered.

Wage: $36/hour + $3.55/hour afternoon premium for fully licenced technicians. Contact us to confirm rates for apprentices.

This past Sunday Riverdale was proud to live our Purpose of “Feeding the Country” by donating 352 Turkeys to Nonnina’s Table in Toronto, an organization dedicated to providing meals to community members.

Riverdale donated 352 turkeys and 7 of our Providers spent the day handing out turkeys and helping to pack meal bags.

With Riverdale donating the turkeys this year, Nonnina’s Table was able to feed even more community members.

It was an incredible experience, and we are so proud to have had the opportunity to be involved.

We Kicked Ass, Had Fun and helped Feed The Country!
