Our Vancouver Island, Victoria and Pacific Rim group has travelled to Tofino on the West Coast of Vancouver Island - part of the Pacific Rim. Our groups stay at the Tin Wis Resort located right on the beach. Yesterday, the big event was the whale watching cruise. Our lucky folks got to see sea lions and, in a separate post, watch for a whale sighting! Today, they are headed back to the mainland from Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay to overnight tonight at Inn at the Quay in New Westminster.

Over Mother’s Day weekend we had our Victoria, Vancouver Island and Pacific Rim tour head west from Alberta. This 8 day tour, in the capable hands of Tour Director Sharon and Driver Bill, has visited Victoria BC and today continues on to Tofino BC on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Yesterday was the final day of our spring Victoria Stay Awhile tour. Our fantastic passengers enjoyed a full free day in Victoria, with people visiting different attractions all over the city. Then we did a visit to the Butterfly Gardens and Butchart Gardens on Thursday, with included High Tea. We left Victoria on Friday morning, spending a night in Kamloops and a night in Golden on the way home. If this sounds like a great Close to Home getaway to you, we will run this same itinerary again departing October 11!
