Here's a great thing for anyone looking to get away at Christmas - our 9 day Christmas in Victoria tour, Departing December 21 2026. Come with us to experience the magic of the decorations, lights and meet new friends for a voyage with lots of camaraderie and cheer.

This tour is a guaranteed departure, and begins in Calgary with pickups heading north to Edmonton and then west - our first night is in Valemount BC. Then travel to New Westminster for a night at the fantastic Inn at the Quay, and end up at the Huntingdon Hotel in the Inner Harbour/James Bay area of Victoria for four nights. On the way home, stay in Kamloops and Hinton. Enjoy a welcome dinner, Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas Day Brunch, Christmas Day Dinner, High Tea at Butchart Gardens, a Pizza Party dinner and a Farewell Dinner all included, along with 7 breakfasts! Visit some of the key attractions of Victoria, all dressed in their holiday finery. Get together with your fellow travellers for Christmas afternoon to chat, exchange gifts, and maybe even see Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Day 16,17,18 - Northwest Territories and Yukon

The final three days of our tour saw the group travelling through the scenic Northern Rockies. We had a nice picnic at Liard River Hot Springs. Quite a few people got into the hot pools, while others just walked the boardwalk through the unique warm water marsh to see the hanging gardens and hot pools without going in. With scenic photo stops at Muncho Lake and Summit Lake (with juice and cookie break) we ended the day at Fort Nelson with a fantastic Farewell Dinner. From Fort Nelson we continued through Fort St John and Dawson Creek to Grande Prairie. Today, the last day, we’re headed to Edmonton and all the drop offs to Calgary.

This was a great new tour, with a fantastic group that experienced the great hospitality and scenery and history of Canada’s North. Does this tour appeal to you? It sold out quickly this year, so much so that we will be offering two dates next year in July and August, with bookings already being taken on the July departure!

Day 13,14,15 - Northwest Territories and Yukon

We returned to Whitehorse from Dawson City for another two night stay. From Whitehorse we ventured down the South Klondike Highway in some of the most scenic areas of Canada to visit Carcross, see Fraser BC and unique scenery approaching the summit of White Pass, and had lunch and a visit to the Yukon Suspension Bridge. We headed back to Whitehorse making scenic photo stops along the way. We then headed from Whitehorse to Watson Lake after a relaxing start to Day 15.

Day 10,11,12 - Northwest Territories and Yukon

Our group headed north to Dawson City, historic centre of the Klondike Gold Rush in the traditional territory of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in people. This was the last great gold rush in the world, with the gold discovery in 1896, followed by the stampede from 1897 to 1898. When the stampeders arrived in June 1898 they found an active city awaiting them in the northern wilderness. Today it is a National Historic District, with multiple sites and programs operated by Parks Canada and the Klondike Visitors Association.
