We are in Hermanus on Walker Bay- home of the Southern Right Whale. Some people saw one yesterday! Beautiful walks along the shore, cute town with little shops and delightful people . Outdoor cafes abound. The sea air so invigorating. Staying at the gorgeous hotel.

First few days Moditlo Private Game Reserve. Rather wet and cold due to a rogue cold front, but with ponchos and hot water bottles we bumped and slid in the muddy tracks to witness some great wildlife. Including at the bar! After all this is group!
Back at the lodge we warmed up with hot showers, heated blankets and of course w**e!

Welcome to South Africa! After a relaxing couple of days at the charming Africa Sky Boutique Hotel near JNB airport we set out for Hazyview where we stopped for the night. Who knew you could game view from the amazingly well laid out rest stop?!
The next day with rain and fog we continued toward Kruger Park but unable to see Gods Window-someone said the drapes were pulled so much cloud and fog. A shame.
Bourque’s Luck Potholes were Bea in tidal and the mist cleared enough to see the3 Rondavels and the magnificent. Blyde ‘s River Canyon. Stunning scenery !
