My truth about the Mount Batur hike 🏔️🥾

A few facts about this Bali experience:

⛰️ Mount Batur is an active volcano standing 1,717 metres (5,633 feet) above sea level.

🥾 The sunrise hike typically begins around 2–4 AM, with the climb taking approximately 2 hours.

🌋 The mountain sits within a massive volcanic caldera, with views of Lake Batur below.

🌅 Hikers make the climb in the dark to reach the summit in time for sunrise.
