This is a spectacular canoe trip…
Haven’t met this crew yet, but they sure seem to know what’s up!

Due to a cancelation, we have TWO spots available for kayak camping from Content Bridge to Tolman Bridge June 20/21. We supply catered meals and snacks, kayak and gear for paddling and tenting, shuttle back to start,, and guide you the whole way. Stable kayaks, serene river, exceptional views, gourmet meals, and a special experience of a picnic at Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park. All you need is clothing, pillow, sunglasses, and your sleeping bag. Not into a tent? Bring your camper ahead of time (we can make arrangements with Trenville Park Campground to accomodate you)
$600 per person. Must be booked prior to June 15th to ensure your place (and so our lovely caterers know how many meals and of any allergies or dietary needs that need met)

Oops!

I still had the winter voicemail on the phone line here at Canoeheads
Photo is from last season with the 60 canoe group I assembled 🙂

But not so great weather so far, and then, too much water. Typical May / June
It looks good for a week or 2 now. The real annual flood is usually around Canada day !

Anyway I have 20 canoes ready to roll

I’ll be here into September as weather allows

Learn to use your self rescue gear

Essential equipment:

750 ml min. Bailing bucket / or pump 🪣
15 meter buoyant heaving line (floating rope)
Sounding device, eg. whistle/ horn
PFD for every occupant (wear it!)
