That’s right, we’re moving back to Ontario! It’s bittersweet - we’ve made lots of friends here, our kids will miss their friends, and this is where Grey was born … but moving back to Niagara is the best decision to benefit our little family.

It was such a last minute decision so we are still looking for a place and daycare (I swear this is the most stressful part!!) … so if anyone has any leads on a daycare in St.Catharines/Thorold/Welland that has spaces for a toddler, please send me a DM!!

Oh my goodness … I am obsessed with this birthday card!! I honestly might write it out to myself when my birthday come lol. I’m still in love with the series … I think I’m binging it for the 10th or 11th time. I get on a kick of true crime and then need to calm myself down with this hilarious show!

Welp … I’m a day late. Pretty much the story of my life these days 🤣 I have to say, I’m not sorry to see 2022 go. There were some amazing highs … like the birth of our baby Grey. But some really low lows. So needless to say … I’m excited that 2023 is here!! I have so much planned for Mimi+Bear this year … starting with a spring launch of home scents. I’m also super excited about helping my daughter launch her business .by.mimi (her lip gloss supplies are on the way!). So happy to have you all here for my journey, and I can’t wait to keep making awesome stuff for you!

I got my sights set on you, 2023!

2021 and 2022 were brutal. My pregnancy was awful, as I was sick for so long and then had severe reflux for the rest. I ended up developing life-threatening blood clots in my leg/lungs after having an emergency c-section. As a result I have life-long side effects and am still trying to process the trauma of coming close to death. But I ended up with an absolutely beautiful baby who is such a joy to have 😍

Because of all that I really didn’t put much effort into my business and it definitely took the back burner. I thought I lost my passion and gave up on certain things … but really the problem was just that I was still recovering and just needed time.

2023 is going to be about growth and expansion. My passion is back … I love what I do, and I can’t wait to see what this next year holds. So excited to bring you all along on this journey!
