It's a free transit day today in the Comox Valley, but it is always a free transit day on Denman Island 🦀👀

BC Transit and the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) are happy to announce that transit will be free on Victoria Day, Monday May 18! 🚏

Take transit to the festivities in Cumberland or enjoy the many great places to celebrate throughout the Comox Valley.

On this holiday Monday, buses will be running on a Saturday schedule, so please check with the Rider’s Guide before heading out.

✅ Free transit will be available on all routes.

Expect some detours due to Victoria Day events in Cumberland.

Customers are encouraged to use Umo, Google Transit or any other real time trip planning app to see trip times and plan your journey.

Just three days left of our Winter Service hours (April 23rd, 25th, 30th) before we switch to our new 7 day a week Summer Service on May 1st!

The new Summer Schedule has some changes that we encourage you to take a look at before your next trip. We have adjusted our first and last run to ensure connections with the Hornby and Denman ferries, and we made a little cheat sheet for those who take the #10 bus to Courtenay. 🦀🚌🦀⛴🦀🚌🦀

Happy Nearly New Year, Denman!

We're pleased to announce that we'll be offering some shuttle service on December 31st, for the New Year's Eve FACEHEATER show at the Community Hall.

We'll do an initial pick-up run at 8pm, another at 10pm, and then runs home starting a little after midnight to around 1am, although of course we won't be leaving anyone stranded.

If you would like to be picked up, please message the DIBS Facebook or Sam (at 250-845-9477) with your address, preferred time (we can't guarantee exact times, but we'll do our best), and number of passengers.

For return trips, we'll be on hand outside the Hall, waiting to take people home.

We will go anywhere on island that the van can safely get to- including the North end, although if you have a monster driveway, we may need you to meet us part way.

We want everyone to have a fun and safe New Year, so please, if you're planning to drink, plan a safe ride home too.

Looking for a way to get to the Denman Island Christmas Craft Fair next weekend? Leave your car at home and hop on the Scuttlebus! We will be offering a shuttle service from the Denman West Ferry Terminal. Walk on at Buckley Bay and get dropped off directly to the doors of the craft fair!

We will also be running our regular 12pm-6pm Saturday service so you can join us whether you are starting at Fillongly Beach, Mcfarlane Rd, or Hornby Island.
