Happy World Bee Day! 🐝

Today, we celebrate one of the most essential insects in nature - bees! Small but mighty, bees play a crucial role in pollinating 90% of wild plants and 33% of food crops.

Thank you to all the busy bees who do their part to maintain our ecosystems!

After nearly 6 years, I have decided to close/pause the self-serve stand.

I am incredibly thankful to the many honest customers who have supported us over the years. Unfortunately, repeated incidents have made continuing the stand unsustainable. These have included theft, people opening products without purchasing them, attempted break-ins involving a crowbar on our secure payment safe, and individuals urinating on our property.

As this is also my family home, I’ve reached the point where the stress and disrespect outweigh the positives of continuing an unattended roadside stand.

Thank you again to everyone who supported Ontario Honey Creations and treated the stand with kindness and honesty over the past 6 years.

The farm store will continue to remain open and staffed during regular business hours. Products can also be preordered online and arranged for on-site pickup.

Ontario Honey Creations is proud to partner with Orangeville Public Library for an educational talk about one of our most critical insects - bees! 🐝

In this program, you will be able to see bees in action in an observational hive, taste their honey, and make a seed ball to take home to help support a pollinator-friendly garden.

This drop-in program is for ages 7 to 12 years old, and will take place in the Meeting Room in the basement of the Mill Street Library. No registration is required, but preregistration is recommended and open at the link in our bio.
