Today we dedicated the entire day to EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow), and honestly, I could have spent two days here without even feeling like I’d seen it all. The Food & W**e Festival was in full swing, and every pavilion had something new, exciting, and completely tempting waiting to be discovered. I had never experienced this festival before, so I was genuinely buzzing to finally make our way around World Showcase and “snack and sip” our way through the day.
We started off with the idea of “just a little taste” … which, as expected, didn’t last very long. We slowly worked our way around World Showcase, stopping at booth after booth to try dishes and drinks from all over the world. Every stop felt like its own little moment, something savory one minute, something sweet or refreshing the next and somehow, we always found room to keep going.
What made the day even better was how relaxed everything felt. Between bites, we hopped on a few attractions, wandered through the pavilions, and took our time exploring without any real rush or plan. Live music drifted through the air, people were laughing and enjoying themselves everywhere, and EPCOT just had that perfect mix of energy and calm that makes you want to slow down and stay a while.
We also spent more time than we usually do really exploring each country—popping into shops we’d normally rush past, taking photos, and noticing all the little details that make each pavilion feel so unique. It turned into one of those days where you’re not checking anything off a list, you’re just following whatever catches your attention in the moment.
And of course, the running joke of the day became “okay, we will try just one more thing” … which turned into about ten more things. Every time we thought we were done, we’d spot another booth or dish we couldn’t possibly skip.
