We had the opportunity on Wednesday to take part in a great event hosted by the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations (CORIM), the Quebec Federation of Chambers of Commerce (Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) and the Port of Québec (Port de Québec).

The event brought together business and community leaders to hear Alberta Premier Danielle Smith present her economic vision.

The St. Lawrence Seaway connects Canada and the Great Lakes region to the rest of the world. As discussions continue around trade and economic growth, we stand ready to support the efficient movement of goods and access to global markets.

🚢 May Traffic Snapshot
The St. Lawrence Seaway System handled 8 million tonnes of cargo through the end of May, reflecting continued economic activity across key sectors.

Strong dry bulk traffic, driven by salt, cement and clinker shipments, is outperforming last year's pace. Grain volumes remain healthy, supported by increased U.S. grain movements.
