Our newest boat is in the water and ready for adventure… but it needs a name!

Right now we’ve been calling it the “Date Boat” — but this experience is WAY more than just romance.

Dates can be:
• Best friends
• Brothers & sisters
• Parent & kid
• Grandma & grandson
• Your fishing buddy
• Or someone who just deserves to feel appreciated

This is a private 2-person adventure with your own guide, designed to experience Quadra Island like a local.

The industrial side of the herring spawn is real. I was checking in with our friends from and they jumped on board for a quick afternoon/evening shoot to get some clips. Always interesting and impressive to see the pros in action! Not sure how many tons of herring were taken on this set but likely well over 100.

This year we’re giving you your own personal bird’s-eye view of the legendary herring spawn.

We’ve partnered with to create an unforgettable on-water + in-air experience — so you don’t have to pack a drone, stress about batteries, or pray to the weather gods.

Here’s how it goes:

🌊 3 hours on the water
Get your hands, eyes, and ears fully immersed in the spawn and the wild spectacle that comes with it — whales, sea lions, birds, and pure coastal chaos.

🚁 20-minute helicopter flight
Then we lift off and take you above the action — rain or shine — for the ultimate aerial perspective.

And the best part?

We transfer from the boat to the helicopter on a remote beach.
Yes… remote beach.
Yes… very Magnum P.I. energy.
