Tartan Wave

07/30/2026

Well it's been a day or two since I updated this page so I figured that today would be a very good day! It would also seem that it has been a good summer for many of you to treat the special people in your life with 'our tartan'! Whether it's to keep in touch across the miles, or to welcome visiting family and friends back home, it has been a treat to mail so many parcels out this summer!

Starting this weekend, regular shipments through Canada Post will be available once again. A few items are currently out of stock (thank you for selling me out of them!) so I will be spending the rest of this summer and fall adding new items to the website. See you again soon!

It's lupine season! Just one of the local colours that inspired the Annapolis Royal Tartan. And no wonder - they're everywhere this time of the year! Visit Blackwoods Bread & Roses Inn in Annapolis Royal and take a reminder of this gorgeous season with you wherever you go!

Due to the pending Canada Post strike, all online orders are temporarily on hold. I hope to be shipping to you again soon! In the meantime:

Even bigger and better this year, the Canmore Highland Games is taking place this weekend! While we won't be hosting a vendor tent this year, we'll be volunteering and doing our bit to keep this special tradition going. The forecast looks perfect - you should come!
