Clip Clop is visiting the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre in the Crowsnest Pass!

In 1903, Turtle Mountain collapsed, creating Canada’s deadliest rockslide and forever changing the Crowsnest Pass. Today, the Interpretive Centre shares this story through powerful exhibits, storytelling, and views overlooking the slide itself.

Clip Clop spent some time learning and reflecting on this stop and the stories it holds with the Frank Slide’s mascot Rumbler. It’s a place that leaves a lasting impression, one you don’t soon forget.

Clip Clop is visiting the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, a UNESCO World Heritage Site near Fort McLeod!

For nearly 6,000 years, Indigenous People used this site to hunt bison, drawing on deep knowledge of the land and animal behaviour. It remains one of the best preserved and oldest buffalo jump sites in the world, recognized globally for its cultural and historical significance.

Today, the site shares these stories through exhibits, interpretive programs, and a visitor centre built into the landscape itself. Clip Clop took his time here, this isn't a place you just trot through. He says it's a stop that will really stay with him down the trail and give him plenty to reflect on.

This site tells the story of a deep understanding of the landscape and the animals that once moved across it. Long before modern tools, people here used knowledge, skills and careful planning to provide for their communities.

Clip Clop is visiting the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller!

This world-renowned museum is dedicated to the study of ancient life and is home to one of the largest displays of dinosaurs on Earth. It all began with a discovery in 1884, when geologist Joseph Burr Tyrrell uncovered a dinosaur skull, sparking a legacy of exploration that continues today.

With incredible exhibits, hands-on programs, and fossils around every corner, it's a place where curiosity comes to life. Clip Clop had a roar-some time exploring the museum and he says this stop really digs up your sense of wonder and keeps you on your toes (and hooves)!

Clip Clop has taken a giant trot back in time.

He's surrounded by creatures that roamed Alberta millions of years ago, in a place where ancient bones tell the story of life long before us. It's a stop full of discovery and some very large "neigh-bors"!
