Now that's a different kind of moving day! 🚚🌊

Here's a throwback to 2023, when one of our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Kitchener, Cambridge & Waterloo trucks took a ride on a barge on Georgian Bay.

Most moving days involve highways, neighbourhood streets and driveways. This one included a trip across the water!

Not something you see every day, and definitely a moving day worth remembering.

Sometimes the move-out date and the move-in date just don’t line up.

A closing gap, renovation, downsizing or temporary move can leave you needing somewhere for your belongings in between.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Kitchener, Cambridge & Waterloo can move your belongings into storage and bring them back out when you’re ready for the next step.

It keeps the moving and storage part of the process with one team instead of having to coordinate everything separately.

Apartment and condo moves come with their own moving-day details.

Elevator bookings, loading areas, parking, building access and timing can all affect how smoothly the move goes.

Our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Kitchener, Cambridge & Waterloo team helps customers throughout Waterloo Region plan around those details and keep the move organized from start to finish.

Whether you’re moving into a high-rise, apartment or condo, a little planning before moving day can make a big difference.

A move doesn’t really feel finished until everyone starts settling in, including the pets. 🐾

Once you arrive at the new home, giving them a familiar space can help make the change a little easier.

Set out their bed or blanket, food and water, favourite toys and anything else that smells familiar before the rest of the unpacking takes over.

New surroundings can take some getting used to, so giving pets a quiet place to settle while the house comes together can make a big difference.

Our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Kitchener, Cambridge & Waterloo team helps families move throughout Waterloo Region, including the four-legged members of the household.

Today, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We remember the children who never returned home, honour Survivors of residential schools, and recognize the families and Indigenous communities who continue to live with the impacts of this history.

Today is a day to listen, learn and reflect.

Movers for Moms®2026 is officially in the books, and it was another successful year for the program! 💜

This is the second year of Movers for Moms for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK's Canadian locations, and we were able to make positive strides bringing this giving program to Canada. Partnering with 32 different community partners across the country, we were able to collect 4,520 essential care items that were donated to women's and family shelters on or around Mother's Day.

Take a look at some of the highlights from this year's Movers for Moms program in the video below and see how our franchises were able to partner with their communities to make a difference in the lives of others!
