Why start with the mission, not the model?
One of the biggest mistakes in aircraft acquisition isn't overspending. It's buying the wrong aircraft in the first place.
Defining your mission profile first — where you fly, how often, how many passengers you typically carry, which airports you need to access and what you're prepared to spend — helps identify the right aircraft type before anyone looks at a listing.
Once that's established, the rest follows: acquisition cost, operating costs, pre-purchase inspection, registration requirements and future resale considerations.
At Flightpath, we start by building the mission profile with you. It's what helps separate the right aircraft for your needs from simply the largest, newest or most recognizable option — which isn't always the best fit.
If an aircraft purchase is on your horizon, that first conversation is worth having early.
What would drive your decision first — range, passenger capacity, airport access or operating cost? 👇
