Industry expertise and technical discussion are coming together at AGAT Laboratories this September.

AGAT will host the Canadian Crude Quality Technical Association (CCQTA) Annual General Meeting in Calgary on September 22–23, bringing industry professionals together for two days of technical sessions, knowledge sharing, and connection.

The program will explore topics including organic chlorides, mercury in crude, foulant investigation, elevated-pressure viscosity, and vapour pressure, along with an open forum, CCQTA education session, and the Annual General Meeting.

Wake The Giant returns to Thunder Bay on September 12, bringing music, culture, and community together around a shared purpose.

For Indigenous youth who leave remote First Nation communities across Northern Ontario to pursue their education in Thunder Bay, that sense of connection can make a meaningful difference. Wake The Giant creates a platform to celebrate Indigenous culture, strengthen community connections, and support the students shaping their futures away from home.

AGAT Laboratories is a Gold Sponsor of this year’s festival and has supported the initiative since 2023, with our involvement extending beyond the event through an annual bursary for a graduating student.

Designed for environmental professionals, this practical half-day seminar will explore soil vapour sampling methods, technologies, and best practices through expert-led discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on learning.

Led by AGAT Laboratories and industry experts from Geosyntec, the session will cover active and passive sampling techniques, field considerations, applications, and equipment. Attendees will also take part in a hands-on SUMMA canister exercise and have the opportunity to connect with instructors and fellow industry professionals.

Nous avons donné une nouvelle apparence aux rapports générés par le système de rapport environnemental (ERS).

Conçu pour en faciliter la consultation, le nouveau format comprend une table des matières pratique qui permet de repérer rapidement les principales sections de votre rapport et d’y accéder plus facilement. La section sur l’assurance qualité a également été r***e afin de présenter plus clairement les qualificatifs associés au rapport. Enfin, AGAT a revu la présentation des résultats qui dépassent les normes réglementaires afin de les rendre plus faciles à repérer.

Les données demeurent les mêmes, mais leur consultation est désormais plus simple, plus intuitive et plus efficace du début à la fin.

An updated QA section provides clearer visibility into any qualifiers associated with the report. And finally, AGAT has updated the way you see your results that exceed regulatory standards, making it harder to miss.

The data remains the same, but the experience is more streamlined, intuitive, and efficient from start to finish.
