A 72-hour strike notice has been issued regarding contract negotiations with WestJet's cabin crew, with a counter-lockout notice issued by the airline. A work stoppage could occur as early as Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 12:01 AM MT.

We are actively monitoring the situation and tracking the official WestJet Travel Advisory in real time.

ℹ️If you are a client with upcoming travel plans over this period:

• We have already reviewed your itinerary and are proactively managing potential impacts.

• No action is required from you right now, flights are still operating normally as negotiations continue.

We will contact you directly via phone or email the exact moment we receive new update or cancellation alerts from the airline.

They say you have to get lost to be found, and I felt that. Travelling didn’t just allow me to experience mew countries, it completely changed me. Stepping off a plane in a place where nobody knows your name gave me the space to realize who I really am. It taught me that life isn’t measured by the number of years we live, but by how fully we live them. ✈️🌎
