Hello and welcome to the Mini Slimline Instagram Hop! Each month, we will be creating and sharing mini slimline cards. What's a mini slimline card? Well, some of us like to take a piece of 6X6" cardstock and fold it in half. Others use a 6X7" piece and fold it. All of us fit these cards in to a 3.75" x 6.5" envelope. This is a really fun size to work with!

I learned something new today -- you cannot add a photo to a published post. Did you know that? Anyways, my card wasn't finished before the hop went live, so now that it is, I have to repost for the hop.
This mini card is a smaller version of the card I CASEd for our Super Stamp Monthly card class. The original card I saw was in an online workshop, and the card was created by Creatives by Chris Smith.

I love the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper! Of course, I bought extras.

Today's the day! Today's the day demonstrators can pre-order from the new May - August 2026 Catalogue. And while we are all excited for all the new things, we still have products to create with and enjoy now.
Using your supplies becomes much easier when you start with intention rather than pressure.
Before you sit down to create… try this.

Instead of asking “what should I make?”
Ask yourself:

✨ What do I need right now — calm, creativity, connection?
✨ Who could I create for today?
✨ How much time do I actually have?

Using your supplies becomes so much easier when you start with intention instead of pressure.

This little shift has helped me enjoy creating again — instead of feeling behind.

Write these down and come back to them later.

I almost overlooked this set… and now I can’t stop using it.

What surprised me most is how versatile it is.
I created the same layout with the same colours, with just a tweak on the colour focus to create this trio of cards and matching albums.
I haven't even started creating with the oval and flower images.

The same stamps can feel completely different depending on how you use them.

That’s something I’m leaning into right now — not more supplies, just more exploration.

I’m still discovering new ways to use it every time I sit down.

This is why I make cards. 💜

Card #3 — and this one might be my favorite.

Not because it’s perfect…
But because I know exactly who I’d send it to.

That’s the shift that happens when I slow down and actually use what I have.

It stops being about the supplies…
And starts being about the people.

A thank you.
A thinking of you.
A little moment of connection in someone’s mailbox.

That’s what this is really about.

And it’s why I care so much about helping you create, too — because these small, handmade things matter more than we realize.

Momentum starts small… and then it builds.

This is card #2 using the same stamp set I almost passed by.

The first card helped me start.
This one helped me play a little more.

I added a layer, added some bling, and just let myself experiment without worrying if it was “good enough.”

That’s something I was reminded of at convention — creativity grows when we give ourselves permission to try.

And the best part?
Now I actually have something to share.

Before I go down the rabbit hole of all the new things… ✨

I sat down today with the new catalogue, my notebook, and a very good pen… and wow, it is so easy to get swept up in everything that’s new.

And don’t get me wrong — there are so many beautiful things coming from Stampin' Up!.

But instead of trying to do everything at once, I’m coming back to what matters most to me right now:

✨ make projects
✨ share projects
✨ take care of my customers
✨ take care of my team
✨ find the new (without the overwhelm)

So before I jump into all the new releases…
I went back and pulled out a stamp set from the current mini catalogue that I completely overlooked the first time.

And honestly? I don’t know why I waited.
I think the Addressed to You stamp set has many possibilities for quick and easy cards, plus it can decorate the envelope, too!

It was such a good reminder that creativity doesn’t come from having more…
It comes from using what we already have and enjoying the process.

I’ll be sharing more with this set this week before diving fully into the new catalogue.
We have lots of time before the new catalogue starts on May 5th.
