✨ WHO WE ARE WEDNESDAYS // Meet Sadaf!

1. What is your position at 4Seasons Transportation?

I am a Bus Attendant at 4Seasons Transportation. Every day, I help support students with special needs during their journey to and from school. My role is to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and cared for while on the bus. I enjoy greeting the students each day, helping them settle in, and building positive relationships with them and their families. It is rewarding to know that I can help make their day start and end on a positive note.

2. What do you love about working at 4Seasons?

What I love most about working at 4Seasons is the people. Everyone is supportive, respectful, and willing to help one another. I also enjoy working with the students. Their smiles, personalities, and daily progress make this job very meaningful to me. Being part of a team that helps students get to school safely each day gives me a strong sense of purpose.

3. What is something others might not know about you?

Many people may not know that I have been married for over 20 years and am the proud mother of four children. One of my sons has special needs, which has taught me patience, compassion, and understanding. Despite facing some health challenges, I always try to stay positive and keep helping others whenever I can. Caring for children, supporting families, and making a difference in someone’s day are things that bring me the greatest joy.

Last week, we celebrated the end of another incredible school year with our amazing TCSs and their families at our End of School Year Zoo Party! 🎉🐒🦒

Despite the rain, nearly 600 guests joined us for a day filled with fun, laughter, and a well-deserved celebration. TCSs and their families explored the zoo, enjoyed face painting, caricatures, glitter tattoos, lunch, and had the chance to win plenty of exciting prizes!

We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of our TCSs for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. Every day, they help ensure students can get to school safely and access the education they deserve. Because of their efforts, our mission to support students with disabilities comes to life each and every day.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day so special. It was a wonderful way to celebrate an amazing school year and recognize the people who make such a meaningful difference in the lives of our students! 💙

🦺 SAFETY SUNDAY 🦺

Stop means stop 🛑 In Alberta, drivers must come to a complete stop at the stop line, crosswalk, or before entering the intersection. Rolling through or slowing down without fully stopping is considered a traffic violation.

Failing to stop at a stop sign can result in:
✔️ A fine of approximately $400
✔️ 3 demerit points on your driving record

Taking a few extra seconds to stop completely helps protect pedestrians, cyclists, and other drivers! ✨

✨ WHO WE ARE WEDNESDAYS // Meet Bill!

1. What is your position at 4Seasons Transportation?

I am a TCS. Each morning, in snow, rain or shine, I inspect my bus, check my route and set out across Calgary to pick up my students. At each door I exclaim “Good morning! Happy, happy day.” The student rushes onto the bus and takes their seat. I make sure the student is secure and I then set out for the next student. When all the students are on the bus we go to school. The teachers greet the students and they all tumble into class. I am done for the morning and go home unless I am asked to cover another route. In the afternoon, I reverse the process.

2. What do you love about working at 4Seasons?

I love that everyone is friendly and always willing to help each other. I also enjoy the variety of exploring Calgary and meeting the students, teachers and parents.

3. What is something others might not know about you?

I am not sure if anyone knows that I have hoed sugar beets, built homes, played in a bar band, practiced law, been a barista, volunteered extensively, traveled with my dogs through Europe and Latin America, and now I am trying to finish writing a novel. Now I am a TCS and loving it!

My 1st Ride 🚌

We’re proud to be part of the My 1st Ride program, a school bus orientation designed to help first-time riders, students with special transportation needs, and older students feel comfortable and confident taking the bus to and from school.

Our team was on-site giving future riders a chance to experience what it’s like on a 4Seasons bus, meet our team, and get familiar with the journey ahead, so they can head into the new school year feeling excited and ready to ride 💛

IKEA Breakfast 🥞🎉

A few weeks ago, we celebrated School Bus Driver Appreciation with an IKEA brunch, great company, plenty of prizes, and lots of laughs, all to show our appreciation for the incredible TCSs who go above and beyond every single day. 🚌💙

A huge thank you to our Transfer Care Specialists for the care, compassion, and dedication they bring to the road each day, helping ensure students can safely access their education. We appreciate everything you do! 🙌🎉

Transportation Care Specialist (TCS) Driver 🚍

2. What do you love about working at 4Seasons?

I love being part of helping students and families start and end their days with a safe, positive, and caring experience. I’m an early bird, so the morning starts are a perfect fit; plus the flexibility allows me to balance other adventures and commitments in my life!

3. What is something others might not know about you?

Music is absolutely my energy 🎶 I love all kinds of music and enjoy creating playlists that help bring good vibes, smiles, and magical connections to the journeys we share together.

1. What is your position at 4Seasons Transportation?

I am a Transfer Care Specialist Attendant!

2. What do you love about working at 4Seasons?

I love seeing joy on the children’s faces and their happy smiles, and their good attitude! I also love to learn new things like the different securement and the things I never knew growing up!

3. What is something others might not know about you?

I have a huge compassion towards children and families and cultural diversity - I love learning about it as well!

🚌 School Bus Driver Appreciation Day💛

Today, we celebrate the heart of what we do, our incredible TCSs (Transfer Care Specialists).

To our drivers, attendants, and LPNs, thank you for showing up each day with patience, compassion, and care. What you do goes far beyond transportation. You create a safe, supportive space so our students can start their day feeling ready for school.

Because of you, students living with disabilities can access their education, build independence, and stay connected to their communities. You are often the first smile of the day and the last before heading home, and that consistency means so much.

Your work is not always easy, but it is always meaningful. Today, and every day, we are so grateful for you!💙
