What began as a crew has turned into an international movement and way of life; Red Dragon Apparel (RDS) traces it beginnings to a group of friends who through their professional skateboard careers would come to change the face of skate-inspired clothing. Founded by Canadian skateboard legends; Colin McKay, Rob ‘Sluggo’ Boyce and Moses Itkonen, the Red Dragon clothing brand was initially launched in 1998 following the opening of their flagship North Vancouver RDS store. Since then, the company has expanded to become one of the most recognizable apparel brands in Canada and abroad. Found on the backs of Canada’s finest skate talent, international musicians and of course, Sirius XM radio personality Jason Ellis, the iconic RDS logo can be seen nearly everywhere you turn. With its sights set on the future, RDS continues to grow and reach new markets but insists on remaining true to its skateboard roots. It will always be about friends, pushing the limits and of course, FSU!

Two all-new RDS High Vis Fire Retardant Zip Hoodies, put to the test by Transition Construction at their new Slocan Skatepark site.

Both hoodies feature safety-rated 60/39/1 modacrylic/cotton anti-static fleece, with the Black ¼-Zip made from 400 GSM fleece and the Black/Green made from 280 GSM. Also both feature the same fire-retardant front zip, 2x2 rib cuffs and bottom hem, removable hood with drawstring, custom reflective taping, and woven labels.
