Last week, we celebrated National Truck Driver Appreciation Week in the U.S. across our Kim-Tam Logistics and Samuel, Son & Co. Service Centre businesses, and we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our drivers.

Our team covers a lot of ground... literally! Every day, you’re hauling steel, navigating challenges of flatbed trucking, and keeping our customers and businesses moving. We know it takes skill, focus, and a whole lot of dedication - So to all of our drivers: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do!

Thank you for your hard work, your professionalism, and for making safety a priority every day. Thank you for every mile, every early morning, every long day, and for taking pride in doing the job right. We’re lucky to have you on our team.

All week long, Kim-Tam Logistics is celebrating our incredible fleet at our Samuel, Son & Co. sites in Burlington, Hamilton, and Brantford.

Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and for everything you do to keep our communities and businesses moving. What you do isn’t easy - and we know it. The long days, the early mornings, the miles, and the responsibility that comes with getting the job done. Not everyone could do what you do every day, and we’re grateful for those who can!

Some traditions aren't planned... they're simply part of who you are. ❤️🚛 Samuel, Son & Co.

There was never any question about how Paityn was getting to her Grade 8 graduation. From the time she was little, she rode everywhere with her dad, Chris Barron. The truck has always been part of her life, so when graduation came around, she knew exactly how she wanted to arrive.

Her dad drove her in his Viper Red 2024 Peterbilt 389. It just felt right to end one chapter of her life the same way so many of her memories began.

Her dress ended up matching the truck perfectly - a happy coincidence that made the moment even more special.

Sometimes it's the simple moments that mean the most. A Dad keeping a promise. A daughter making memories she'll never forget.

Congratulations, Paityn. Wishing you all the best as you head into high school!! (Thank you for sharing, Chris Barron - this is the content I love most).

🚛 Celebrating a Proud Moment for our Kim-Tam Team! 🚛

From June 5–8, Erron Collins represented Kim-Tam Logistics (Samuel, Son & Co.) at the prestigious Western Star “Star Nation Experience" in Bend, Oregon - an opportunity earned by just 14 owner-operators across North America.

Erron has been a dedicated Owner Operator with Kim-Tam for nearly 10 years, running our Heavy Cross-Border lane across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Iowa. His commitment, professionalism, and passion for the road truly set him apart.

Western Star recognized Erron not only for his experience, but for the way he proudly represents their brand. During his time in Oregon, Erron had the opportunity to:
✅ Participate in one-on-one discussions with Western Star’s Vice Presidents
✅ Test drive the new X-Series
✅ Connect with fellow top operators from across North America

Erron’s connection to Western Star runs deep - inspired by his mother, who was both a company driver and Owner Operator with Kim-Tam and owned two Western Stars herself. It’s safe to say this passion has always been in his blood.

We’re incredibly proud to have Erron on our team and to see his dedication recognized on such a prestigious stage.

This past Saturday September 24th, Kim-Tam Logistics (Samuel, Son & Co.) sponsored the Northwest Ohio Cancer Connection Childhood Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Ride.

Robert Bartic, our 3-year tenured Kim Tam Logistics Company driver out of Toledo, Ohio, proudly stood behind our sponsorship with the Iron Bandogs LE/MC Motorcycle Club which is made up of current and retired law enforcement, firefighters and military.

There were 79 participants in the PokerRun making 4 stops throughout Ohio - Waterville, Swanton, Point Place, and Toledo. The group was able to raise $4400.00 towards the cause and after the day cleared up, were able to enjoy a great ride!

We are so pleased to have the opportunity to support such a meaningful cause, and look forward to support this group in future :)

**Happy US National Truck Driver Appreciation Week!** (Sept. 11-17)

From Ohio, to Buffalo, to Tennessee, our Samuel, Son & Co. and Kim-Tam Logistics facilities across the United States had SUCH a successful week at appreciating our commercial drivers south of the border for this years US National Truck Driver Appreciation Week!

These mornings were to thank not just our Kim-Tam Logistics and Samuel, Son & Co. fleet, but ALL commercial drivers coming through our doors... and I think we did just that ♥️🚛
