Lagoon City’s sandy beaches are 1.5 km from your slip. Your family will love swimming in 25 C plus water with a sandy bottom. Its a safe place for children to learn to swim. Lagoon City Marina on Lake Simcoe offers a rich selection of interesting boating. Day Cruise Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching. Visit Orillia or Friday Harbour, or head into the nearby Trent Severn Waterway to explore the Kawartha Lakes, Lakefield and Peterborough.
You can depart Lagoon City mid-morning, catch the first lockage at lock 42, lock through Swift Rapids, the Big Chute and Lock 45 at Port Severn. then you will be anchored in Georgian Bay for sunset cocktails and barbeque, all on the same day.
