Whether you’re heading off with your bike to tackle the Alps, your surfboard for the coasts of Costa Rica, or your golf gear to Ireland, proper preparation is the key to a stress-free departure.

Here's my 'good-to-know' mini-guide for oversized baggage and set off on your adventure stress-free! 👇

1️⃣ Be Rule-Ready ✈️
Every airline has its own rules for weight and dimensions.
Spaces for special equipment are often limited on certain types of aircraft. Let us know as soon as you book!

Pro tip: Take a photo of your packed equipment before closing the bag.

2️⃣ Pack like a pro 📦
Invest in a high-quality transport bag (hard-shell or padded). Use bubble wrap to protect the most fragile parts of your gear.

Pro tip: Remove batteries or sensitive components to avoid damage or security issues.

3️⃣Plan your transportation at your destination 🚗
Showing up with a 9-foot board in front of a small taxi is never ideal!
