I’m Zahera Sondarjee, a Senior Business Account Manager at eShipper. I had an e-commerce client selling Kenyan tea and kitchenware, who was having a higher than average cart abandonment ratio because her shipping fees at checkout were more than her product costs. When she reached out to eShipper, I worked with her and offered her not just better shipping rates, but also a new shipping strategy that would increase her conversion rates. I advised her to increase the cost of her products by a couple of dollars and offer a flat shipping fee at checkout.
