16' Chestnut Ogilvy. Designed for the fishing guides in New Brunswick, the Ogilvy is a solid, stable canoe model. This one was fully restored in the shop here in 2016, paddled twice, and in dry storage since 2017. In excellent condition aside from some minor scuff marks on one side. Asking $4000

This unique 16' Prospector-styled model is a new canoe with a vintage feel. Construction was started in 1986 by the instructors of a canoe building class, and then it was left in storage until it was brought in to us last fall as a trade-in. A treatment of the interior with a two-part wood cleaner revealed the rich patina that only time creates. The beauty of the wood tone is further enhanced by a matte finish UV varnish. The interior is finished off with cherry decks, thwarts, carrying yoke and hand-caned seat frames, all beautifully framed by aged ash gunnels . An elegant Seattle Grey marine paint and brass stem bands provide the finishing touches on this one of a kind model.
