Yesterday was a fantastic day for our Genies! We had the pleasure of packing, moving and unpacking the lovely Anne with an E into her new home. It was a day of warmth, humour and rewarding hugs and a “feel good” feeling knowing Anne is going to be very happy in her new home.

Our Genie family was on site in Sarnia helping Arista move into her beautiful new unit. She gave us a lovely card to express her thanks! It was our pleasure to help her with her transition!

Our Genie team took a break today to go to the London Airshow. We had the privilege of talking to many of the men and women from the Canadian armed forces. Thank you all for your brave service!

Our Genie team is always ready to take on a decluttering and downsizing project! We are providing help and support to a senior couple preparing for their move at the end of the month

Our Genie team is at the Wellings of Corunna today, moving Pam from her family home of generations into a beautiful new apartment. Pam needed support to declutter and work through many legacy possessions and emotions in preparation for this day. Amelia, our trained doula, has been working with Pam for weeks to prepare for this day.

That’s the Genie difference. We don’t just move boxes. We move lives, providing peace of mind, support and security at every step in the transition.

We are very happy to be finally getting Pam settled into her new life at Wellings!

After working on a clean-out earlier today, our Genies found time to squeeze in an evening move for a lovely senior moving to Brookside Retirement Living. Josephine was so impressed with our “prompt, respectful and efficient service” and she is highly recommending our services to others.

We were so happy to see Jack again yesterday. He asked for a visit when our move was done. Our team was happy to spend some time catching up in his suite we moved him into a month ago. We treat our customers like family and it warms our hearts to have our customers appreciate and embrace it.

Our Genies are on the move today helping our senior customers move to a bigger unit. We moved Ray and Marcella a few weeks ago into the lovely Seasons (now Chartwell) in Belle River to a one bedroom while they waited for a bigger unit to open up. Today our crew will get them settled into their new two bedroom home.

This week, our Genie team is working on a clean-out ahead of of our clients’ move. Debbie and Darren, were even kind enough to rent an orange bin to make our Genies feel right at home.

Grand River Council on Aging held an incredible event hosted by Aspira Brants Landing yesterday and Genie was there to join the celebration. We are very excited to be partnering with this great organization dedicated to helping seniors in our community!

The Grand Parade is more than a walk—it's a celebration of older adults and a chance to support programs that help seniors stay informed, connected, and engaged throughout Brantford, Brant County, and Six Nations of the Grand River. ❤️
