Brake Safety Week: Stay on Top of your Inspections!

Brake Safety Week is August 23–29. But brake safety isn't just a one-week priority.

Before you roll:

Inspect your brakes during every pre-trip.
Look closely at drums, rotors, pads, and shoes.
Check for cracks, damage, excessive wear, or rust.
Listen and feel for anything unusual when braking.
Report defects immediately. Don't wait for an inspection.
Repair and verify before the truck goes back on the road.

A roadside inspection shouldn't be the first time we discover a brake problem.
