Last week, we took the opportunity to recognize Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Each year, thousands of trucks drive through Ashcroft Terminal to help move Canadian goods. We are grateful to the incredible drivers who navigate challenging weather and road conditions and play an essential role in keeping our supply chains moving, our economies strong, and our roads safe.

To our carriers and all truck drivers across the country: thank you for your dedication, your commitment to safety, and the time you spend away from home to ensure Canadians have access to the goods they need every day.

This September, as we settle into busy back-to-school and back-to-work routines, it’s easy for distractions to take our attention away from what matters most: staying safe.

Rail Safety Week reminds us that trains are faster and quieter than we might expect. When approaching a crossing, remember to “look, listen, and live,” and make safety the priority.

Happy Canada Day! 🍁

Today, we’re celebrating our remarkable country, and the people and communities that keep it moving.

From the dedicated teams behind our supply chains to the communities that support them, it's people who keep Canada strong. Their hard work and innovation connect our country from coast to coast, strengthen our economy, and deliver the goods Canadians rely on every day.

In recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day, we were honoured to gather with Bonaparte First Nation in a meaningful ceremony at Ashcroft Terminal.

Together, we paused to remember the ancestors who walked before us, honour the rich cultures and traditions of Indigenous Peoples, and reflect on the generations still to come.

Guided by St’uxwtĂ©ws (Bonaparte First Nation), Elders, Kukpi7, and community members, a prayer and blessing were offered at the two monuments located at our terminal.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Bonaparte First Nation and everyone who participated, shared their knowledge, and reaffirmed our collective commitment to move forward together in partnership and mutual respect.

We were pleased to support this year’s Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign in support of local community programs.

This year’s proceeds will benefit the Ashcroft Honour Ranch, a safe and restorative space for members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans, first responders, emergency services personnel, and their families.

Thank you to the Ashcroft Tim Hortons team for organizing another meaningful and successful campaign for our community.
