Our Friday Night BBQ's have been well attended this season and you never know who might stop by. August 7th we were honoured to have an OPP helicopter stop in!

Last Friday BBQ for the season, September 18th at 6:00 PM. All welcome! Drive in or fly in.

Congratulations to Sam on her first solo in the **Schweizer SGS 1-34!**

At just 16 years old, Sam is progressing through the York Soaring fleet, moving from the two-seat **Schweizer SGS 2-33 trainer** to the single-seat **SGS 1-34**.

Sam has logged **10 flights in the past two weeks alone**. Congratulations on another great milestone, Sam!

Congratulations Cavan, Nana, and Zoe for successfully obtaining your Glider Pilot Licenses! After some sight seeing this week, the three will be returning home to Hong Kong. Safe travels!
