🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Antigonish Community Transit will be closed tomorrow in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We encourage everyone to take some time to pause, reflect, listen and learn about what this day means.

Today is an opportunity to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities, and the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on our shared history, listen to Indigenous voices and consider how each of us can contribute to a future built on understanding, respect and reconciliation.

We’re excited to launch a new StFX Student Ambassador Program!

This program gives StFX students an opportunity to become ambassadors for Antigonish Community Transit (ACTS) while helping us promote and encourage the use of our Fixed Route service throughout the Antigonish community.

As an ACTS Student Ambassador, students will:

🚌 Help spread the word about the Fixed Route
🎓 Encourage fellow students to use public transit
📣 Promote sustainable transportation on campus and in the community
💙 Help make transportation more accessible for everyone

And the best part? Selected ambassadors will receive free Fixed Route transit passes!

Whether you’re already a regular transit rider or simply passionate about making a difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you.

📲 Applications are now open! Please scan the QR code to access the application form.

Help us build a stronger connection between StFX students and public transit — one ride at a time. 🚌💙
