🚍 Holiday Notice – Natal Day 🇨🇦

Please be advised that Antigonish Community Transit Society (ACTS) will be closed on Monday in observance of the Natal Day holiday.

There will be no Fixed Route or Book-A-Ride service on Monday. Regular service will resume on Tuesday.

We encourage riders to plan their transportation needs accordingly.

From all of us at ACTS, we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Natal Day long weekend! ☀️

🚌 A Friendly Reminder to All ACTS Riders

To help us provide a clean, comfortable, and accessible experience for everyone, we’d like to remind all passengers of two important policies when travelling with Antigonish Community Transit.

🍽️ No Food or Drinks
Food and beverages are not permitted in any ACTS vehicle. This policy helps us keep our buses and Book-A-Ride vehicles clean, safe, and enjoyable for all passengers.

🌸 Scent-Free Environment
ACTS is proud to be a scent-free environment. We have riders and drivers who experience sensitivities and medical reactions to scented products such as perfumes, colognes, and heavily scented lotions. We kindly ask everyone to avoid wearing scented products when travelling with us so we can ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience for all.

Last day for the survey to be completed to have your say and shape the future of ACTS is today!

Antigonish Community Transit Society (ACTS) is planning changes to its bus route, and we
want to know what you think!

These changes primarily include a redesign of the route, with updates to branding, maps and
signage.

The proposed changes aim to make it easier to take the bus between destinations in Antigonish.

To inform these changes, ACTS is seeking input from local residents and organizations.

This survey asks questions about your transit use and what places you visit most often.

It also offers the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed improvements.

It should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete.

The survey will close on July 17.

Fixed Route Service Delay

Please note that our ACTS Fixed Bus Route will begin service at 10:00AM today.

This temporary delay is due to our participation in the Antigonish Highland Games Parade! We are proud to be part of this great community event and appreciate your understanding while we help celebrate one of Antigonish’s biggest traditions.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the parade, and encourage you to take a picture of us and tag us!

The Fixed Route will be back in service starting at 10:00 a.m.

Be sure to mark your calendars for what promises to be another great lineup! July 26th is the date & once again Antigonish Community Transit will be providing FREE transportation to and from the event! Tag a friend that you might like to go see the concert with!

Be sure to book your ride for Canada Day activities in advance. Deadline to book is June 29, 2026 at 1:00pm.

The Town and County are partnering with Antigonish Community Transit to offer free transportation to the pancake breakfast at St. Ninian Place, the afternoon activities at St. Andrew Junior School, and the evening celebrations at Columbus Field on July 1.

Book your ride in advance before 1 p.m. on Monday, June 29.
