😂✈️ WELL… THIS ESCALATED QUICKLY! ✈️😂

Yesterday afternoon, when his plane landed in Moncton, I got a very important message from Post Malone… 👀🎤

Apparently, he heard that Krista at Memory Bank Travel turns travel dreams into lasting memories and decided we needed to have a little chat about his travel needs, upcoming concert dates, and all the places he needs to be! 🌎✈️🎸

🚢🩵 LET’S TALK MOTION SICKNESS! 🩵🚢

With some of my clients getting ready to set sail soon—and having booked quite a few cruises lately—I thought it was the perfect time to talk about one of the #1 questions I get from new cruisers:

👉 “What if I get seasick?”

Listen… don’t let the fear of motion sickness stop you from cruising! Please trust me on this one! 😂

I LOVE cruising, and guess what? Motion sickness gets the best of me too! It can literally come out of nowhere. One minute you’re enjoying your cruise, and the next… 😵‍💫🌊

Thankfully, there are lots of things cruisers use to help prevent or manage motion sickness:

💊 Dramamine or Bonine – These are available onboard some cruise lines, including Disney and Royal Caribbean. Check with Guest Services if you need them.

🩹 Prescription motion-sickness patches – Talk to your doctor about whether these are right for you. (Fun fact: I was prescribed them, but unfortunately couldn’t get the prescription filled here in Canada. I ended up finding some great alternatives online!)

🟣 Sea-Bands/acupressure wristbands – A popular drug-free option.

🍬 Ginger chews or ginger candy – Another favourite for many cruisers.

🌬️ Fresh air + looking at the horizon – Sometimes stepping outside and getting some fresh air can make a HUGE difference.

🍽️ Keep something light in your stomach – An empty stomach can sometimes make things worse.

🚢 Choose your cabin wisely – If you’re prone to motion sickness, a cabin lower down and closer to the middle of the ship may help you feel less movement.

⭐ MY BIGGEST TIP: If you know you’re prone to motion sickness, have a plan BEFORE the ship starts rocking!

Don’t wait until you’re already feeling awful to do something. Prevention is usually much easier than trying to catch up once the nausea has already started.

And remember—what works for one person may not work for another. Medications can also have side effects or interact with other medications, so if you’re unsure what’s right for you, check with your doctor or pharmacist before your cruise.

💕🚢 ANOTHER GIRLS TRIP HAS MADE IT INTO THE CHAT! 🚢💕

And guess what?! I’M ONE OF THE GIRLS! 😍🥂 Eeeeekkkk! I am SO excited about this one!

We’re kicking things off with 2 nights in Miami before setting sail for an incredible 9 nights aboard Royal Caribbean’s ICON OF THE SEAS! 🌴🌊

And this trip is extra special because it’s a REPOSITIONING CRUISE! 🚢✨ This will be Icon of the Seas’ final sailing from Miami before she heads to Galveston, Texas, where she’ll have a new home port!

And because apparently 9 nights at sea isn’t enough… 😂 we’ll spend one more night in Texas after the cruise before heading back home! ✈️
