Sometimes, the best adventures are right in your own backyard. 🏖️💛

This lake holds some of my favourite childhood memories. Growing up, this was basically my summer vacation spot. My grandparents’ farm was only about a 5-minute drive up the gravel road to the beach, so this lake became a regular part of my summers.
No fancy resorts. No flights. No passports. Just sunshine, water, family, and those simple summer days that somehow become the memories you treasure most. 🥹

It’s funny how we can spend so much time dreaming about travelling somewhere far away, when sometimes the best adventures are the ones that were right in front of us all along. ❤️

This is one travel debate that can get people VERY passionate. 😂

Personally, it really depends on the trip!

👜 Carry-on only:
✔️ No waiting at baggage claim
✔️ No worrying about lost luggage
✔️ Easier airport experience
✔️ Perfect for shorter trips or light packers

🧳 Checked bag:
✔️ More room for outfits
✔️ No stressing about liquids
✔️ Great for longer vacations
✔️ You can pack those “just in case” items we all bring and never use 😂

🌴 For an all-inclusive vacation: I usually recommend thinking about how much you actually need before deciding. Seven days in Mexico doesn't necessarily mean you need a suitcase packed like you're moving there! 😉
