When space is limited, the right equipment and planning make all the difference.
Our Industrial Moving team recently handled the preparation of a 16-foot-tall, 17,000 lb press for shipment. With limited space at the customer’s facility preventing a tandem lift, our crew used a 30,000 lb forklift to safely pick the press and transport it back to our yard.
At the yard, units 90-41 (4984SX Hiab) and 43-02 (4900SA Hiab) worked together on a tandem lift to carefully position the press into its crate.
Once crating was complete, our team used the 30,000 lb forklift to load the press onto a third-party transport truck for the next leg of its journey.
