Looking to hire a Business Development Lead for Spruce Hollow Group of Companies:
MUST HAVE MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY IDEALLY IN SALES OR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Spruce Hollow is a family run Heavy Haul Trucking and Logistics company with operations based out of Abbotsford, BC and Calgary, AB. We move heavy equipment and freight across Western Canada and throughout the USA with modular trailers up to 16 axles in different configurations depending on the load. We have an exemplary reputation in the Heavy Haul and Logistics industry and are looking for team players to join our team.

A successful applicant must meet the following requirements:
• MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY IDEALLY IN SALES OR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
· Excellent written , verbal, interpersonal communication skills
· Professional level experience in consultative sales, business development and client relationship management.
· Valid drivers license with clean abstract
· Resourceful, independent, results oriented but still able to work successfully with a team
· Would prefer an established book of business

Tasks

· Identify sales opportunities and improve our category position
· Monitor competitive market activity, continually gather and communicate competitive information, prospect for new bustiness and capitalize on opportunities available in existing locations
· Solicit new business opportunities for Spruce Hollow and identify sales opportunities to improve Spruce Hollow’s Position in the market
· Participate in key sales strategies, industry events and trade shows to boost brand awareness and generate qualified leads
· Drive growth & uncover market potential
· Employ established sales processes to develop sales leads into confirmed business
· Maintain existing clients
