Belize is playing host to a true hip-hop heavyweight as legendary producer and rapper Mannie Fresh has arrived in the country.
Mannie Fresh is best known as one-half of the iconic rap duo Big Tymers alongside Birdman and as the pioneering producer behind the rise of Cash Money Records in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential producers in Southern hip-hop, Mannie Fresh crafted countless hits that helped define an era of rap music. Among his biggest songs are the Big Tymers classics *"Still Fly,"* *"Get Your Roll On,"* and *"Oh Yeah."* He also produced major hits for artists including Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and B.G., including the chart-topping anthem *"Back That A*z Up."*
News of his arrival has already generated excitement among local music fans, many of whom grew up listening to the unmistakable beats that helped make Cash Money Records a global powerhouse.
His visit adds another major name to the growing list of international entertainers choosing Belize as a destination.
