As the Pangolin Voyager gently cruises between its moorings after the morning game activity, guests can relax on the deck on our l-shaped sofa or one of six sun loungers.

We recommend keeping your camera close at hand, because around the next bend, there might just be a herd of elephants.

On the Chobe River, the safari never really pauses. Even while you're cruising, there's always something extraordinary waiting to unfold.

The Chobe River is home to an incredible diversity of birdlife, and the Giant Kingfisher is one of its most charismatic residents.

Life is Better on Deck!

There’s something special about simply sitting back and watching the Chobe River drift by.

As the Pangolin Voyager cruises between its moorings after the morning safari, the upper deck becomes the perfect place to slow down and soak it all in. Through the large glass sliding doors or out on the partially shaded deck, you'll enjoy uninterrupted views of one of Africa's most wildlife-rich waterways.

Stretch out on the L-shaped sofa, relax on a sun lounger, or settle in with a coffee at the café table.

It all started with a dream...

Today we’re celebrating a very special milestone. The Pangolin Voyager is officially one year old (young)!

What an unforgettable first year it has been. From magical sunrises and spectacular sunsets to close-up wildlife encounters, incredible photographs, new friendships, and countless memories made on The Chobe River, the Pangolin Voyager has already become home to so many extraordinary safari stories.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful guests, dedicated crew, guides, photo hosts, chefs, and everyone who has been part of this incredible journey. Your passion, enthusiasm, and support have helped make the Pangolin Voyager the unique experience it is today.

Here’s to another year of exploring the Chobe in quiet, electric style, sharing unforgettable moments, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or another special occasion? Just let us know! Our chefs are always looking for an excuse to bake something delicious.

Wherever possible, we source our ingredients locally, and we’re happy to cater for vegetarians, vegans, and most medically diagnosed allergies and dietary requirements.

A stay aboard the Pangolin Voyager is more than just a safari, it’s a wildlife photography experience like no other.

Alongside the houseboat, our specially designed eight-seater photo boat takes guests onto The Chobe River at the best times of day: first light and the golden hours before sunset.

Each seat is equipped with an articulated arm and 360-degree rotating camera gimbal, providing incredible stability and freedom to capture every moment, from elephants swimming across the river to colourful birdlife and dramatic predator encounters.

Our expert guides know the river intimately and will position the boat for the very best photographic opportunities, helping you make the most of every sighting.
