The World Cup final was played earlier this month... and so was the ECS Kicker Cup Final! ⚽

Over the past few weeks, 32 teams of two colleagues competed for the title. Colleagues from different teams and ECS sites in Zeebrugge battled it out at the football table, cheered on by enthusiastic supporters along the way.

Each team represented a country where ECS is active. (And yes, since we're active in 31 countries, we had to add one extra nation to complete the tournament .)

Congratulations to Team Denmark for taking home the trophy! 🏆
Scotland claimed silver, while Spain secured bronze.

But the real victory wasn't the trophy. It was the enthusiasm and team spirit that brought colleagues together throughout the tournament!

As a family business, we believe that supporting colleagues also means helping them balance work and family life.

Our on-site daycare, De Havenheldjes, plays an important role in that. It allows parents to focus on their work, knowing their children are nearby in a safe, caring and familiar environment.

Recently, De Havenheldjes achieved an outstanding satisfaction score of 4.93/5! Parents tell us they can leave their children with complete peace of mind and highly value the warm, personal approach of our daycare team.

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for flexible drivers who are willing to carry out regional trips within Belgium on an on-call basis.

The role involves port transport with 45-foot containers, without overnight stays. Ideal for those seeking variety and who are flexibly available to replace colleagues in case of absences.

✅ CE driving licence + Code 95 required
✅ Several years of experience preferred
✅ Safe, punctual, and flexible

🎉 40 jaar ECS vieren!

Van een klein kantoor in Brugge in 1985 tot een toonaangevende Europese logistieke groep vandaag – wat een ongelooflijke traject! 🚀

Op 6 december vierden we ons 40-jarig jubileumfeest. Het was werkelijk een avond om nooit te vergeten – heerlijk eten, muziek, dans, een spectaculair optreden… en zelfs een flashmob van onze collega’s! 💃✨

Deze mijlpaal is meer dan alleen een bedrijfsjubileum – het gaat om het vieren van de mensen die dit mogelijk hebben gemaakt: onze fantastische ECS’ers.

Gedurende vier decennia is ECS sterker geworden door uitdagingen, heeft het verandering omarmd en kansen omgezet in succes. Niets hiervan zou mogelijk zijn geweest zonder de toewijding, loyaliteit en het geloof van onze medewerkers, vroeger en nu.

Dank jullie wel dat jullie deel uitmaken van deze reis. Op naar het volgende hoofdstuk samen!

From a small office in Bruges in 1985 to a leading European logistics group today – what an incredible journey! 🚀

On December 6, we celebrated our 40th anniversary party. It was truly a night to remember – great food, music, dance, a spectacular show… and even a flashmob performance by our colleagues! 💃✨

This milestone is more than just a company anniversary – it’s about celebrating the people who made it possible: our amazing ECS’ers.

Over four decades, ECS has grown stronger through challenges, embraced change, and turned opportunities into success. None of this would have been possible without the dedication, loyalty, and belief of our employees, past and present.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to the next chapter together!

🎄Vrijdag 12/12 stonden we – zoals elk jaar – met een enthousiaste groep lopers aan de start van de Kerstloop Brugge. ECS is trots dit prachtige evenement te sponsoren: 5 of 7.5 km door de feestelijk verlichte binnenstad, langs een parcours volledig in kerstthema.
Het was opnieuw een avond vol sportiviteit, gezelligheid en kerstsfeer (en voor sommigen lag de echte finish aan de kerstmarkt 😉). Dank aan alle lopers die samen met ons deze mooie traditie levendig houden!

🎄On Friday 12/12, as every year, we joined the start of the Bruges Christmas Run with an enthusiastic group of runners. ECS is proud to sponsor this wonderful event: 5 or 7.5 km through the beautifully illuminated historic city center, along a course entirely in Christmas theme.
It was once again an evening full of sport, fun, and festive atmosphere (and for some, the real finish line was at the Christmas market 😉). A big thank you to all runners who help keep this cherished tradition alive!

Onze jaarlijkse preventiemeeting voor ECS Trucking-chauffeurs kreeg dit jaar een frisse, interactieve aanpak dankzij DrivOlution !
In twee sessies werkten we rond veilig rijden, ecodriving en bewustwording over risico’s zoals vermoeidheid en GSM-gebruik.

De feedback was top: preventie blijft een prioriteit, niet één keer per jaar maar het hele jaar door.
Dank aan alle chauffeurs en collega’s voor jullie inzet!

Our annual safety meeting for ECS Trucking drivers got a fresh, interactive twist this year thanks to Drivolution!
During two sessions, we focused on safe driving, eco-driving, and raising awareness about risks such as fatigue and mobile phone use.

The feedback was excellent: safety remains a priority—not just once a year, but all year round.
