❗️UPDATE 2❗️Flights resumed at 9 pm.

Due to a wildcat strike at air traffic controller skeyes, no air traffic is possible in Belgium between 2 pm and 9 pm on Tuesday 2 June. Air traffic resumed as of 21h.

What does this mean for your flight? Please check with your airline for the latest departure times:
👉Departing flights scheduled before 7 pm are unfortunately cancelled.
👉Flights scheduled between 7 pm and 9 pm will be delayed until after 9 pm, where possible.
👉Flights scheduled after 9 pm can depart, but delays may occur.

We regret the inconvenience caused by this strike. Together with our partners, we are doing everything we can to inform and support our passengers.

By summer 2029, you will no longer need to take your liquids and electronics out of your hand luggage during the security screening at Brussels Airport. 💦💻 Thanks to new body scanners and hand luggage scanners, your travel experience will become even more comfortable and efficient. The first new scanners will be in use as of 2028 and the entire security screening system at departure will be renewed in the course of 2029.

Heading to or from Brussels Airport by bus? 🚌 Tomorrow, we have a new bus station about 100 metres from the departure and arrival hall. A new covered walkway makes the walk easy and luggage lockers are available on site. This bus station will be here for the next four years, allowing bus services to continue running smoothly. All while we prepare our future intermodal hub bringing buses, trains, trams, taxis and the airport tram together in one place.
