“My back feels better. But I still feel crooked on the bike.” 🫤🫤
Imagine this: a cyclist with a past lumbar disc herniation returns to riding. One sit bone feels more loaded. One leg seems to reach further. They keep shifting on the saddle, trying to find the middle.
A leg that feels shorter doesn’t necessarily have shorter bones. Pelvic position and posture can create an apparent, or functional, leg-length difference. The question is what that difference does mean for this rider, while pedalling?
At 90 rpm, each leg completes 5,400 revolutions an hour. Understanding how you move through those repetitions is where our work begins.
Our Spina.flow 3D surface scan helps us assess back shape and pelvic position. We bring that together with movement analysis, foot-pressure measurements and something no sensor can replace: what you feel. Then we adjust, test and reassess.
The goal is a position that works with your body, your history and your riding ambitions. Spina.flow assesses posture; it cannot diagnose a herniated disc or establish what caused one. New or worsening numbness or weakness needs medical assessment.
