Wonderful stay in Ghent!

We loved everything about the house from its location to its impeccable amenities! The beds were extremely comfortable, linens were of high quality, the kitchen was well appointed (we loved making fresh squeezed orange juice every morning!), the large deck was a wonderful place to relax in the morning or at the end of the day and taking the boat out for an afternoon on the river was lovely. Sylviane was extremely attentive and a warm hostess and we hope to return in the future!

Outstanding property in superb location, exceeded all our expectations

My wife and I together with her brother and his wife went for a few days relaxation in Ghent prior to going to the Belgian Grand Prix. We spotted this new property on Tripadvisor so booked for a three night stay. What an amazing time we had. Sylviane the owner gave us a wonderful welcome and was always easily available to give advice. The quality of all the facilities was superb and we could not believe our eyes when we saw the surprise that Sylviane had arranged for us. Everything that we could possibly need was supplied eg toiletries in the bathrooms, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. There were even three lovely perfumes in our bathroom . The weather was superb while we were there and so it was great to eat all our meals sitting on the balcony overlooking the river. We had intended eating out, but the location was so special it would have been a shame not to use it fully. One of the highlights of our visit was a boat trip on the river in the boat moored at the property. It was a fairly quiet river so great for novices learning to navigate the area. The extra charge for this was very reasonable. We were even able to make use of a large cool box and plastic champagne glasses for our trip which proved very useful. We hope to return in the near future to explore the area further.

De vakantiewoning is een vrijstaande woning, bestaande uit 1 slaapkamer met 2-persoonsbed, 1 slaapkamer met 2-persoonsbed en 1 eenpersoonsbed, 2 badkamers (1 met ligbad en 1 met do**he), 1 keuken, woonkamer met slaapbank 2 personen. De vakantiewoning is landelijk gelegen, aan de oevers van de Leie.
