Our final port of call on this Baltic cruise: Aarhus, Denmark 🇩🇰 ⚓️

We spent the day exploring the city on foot and discovered a few very different sides of Aarhus along the way. One highlight was the rooftop terrace of the Salling department store, with great views across the city — including the colorful Your Rainbow Panorama on top of ARoS. 🌈

We also visited Aarhus Cathedral, the longest church in Denmark, before continuing our walk through the city center and back towards the harbour.

A relaxed final day ashore and a lovely way to round off the destinations on this cruise. Now it’s time to enjoy the last part of the journey aboard the MSC Magnifica. 🌊🛳️

Today’s stop: Copenhagen, Denmark 🇩🇰 — and we could not have asked for better weather. ☀️

Of course, our day started with one of the city’s most famous landmarks, The Little Mermaid, before continuing on to Amalienborg Palace, home of the Danish royal family. From there, we made our way past Frederik’s Church, also known as the Marble Church, and continued towards the colorful waterfront of Nyhavn. ✨

With blue skies, sunshine and Copenhagen showing itself from its best side, it was a perfect day for exploring the city on foot. ❤️

Our first — and only — sea day of this Baltic cruise. 🌊🛳️

There was still plenty going on aboard the MSC Magnifica. The pool deck turned into a little Oktoberfest celebration with Bavarian decorations, b**r and plenty of atmosphere. 🍻🥨

In the afternoon, we headed to the theatre for a Q&A with the singers, dancers and acrobats, getting a glimpse behind the scenes of the onboard shows. Later, the Captain also took the stage and addressed the guests once again. ⚓️

A relaxed but entertaining day at sea — and tomorrow it’s time for our next stop: Copenhagen, Denmark 🇩🇰.

Second day in Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪 — and today we explored the heart of the city on foot.

The shuttle bus dropped us off near the Royal Swedish Opera, and from there we continued towards the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag) and the impressive Royal Palace. We were even lucky enough to catch part of the ceremonial guard activity in front of the palace. 🇸🇪✨

Stockholm has such a beautiful mix of grand architecture, history and waterfront views — and after two days here, it was time to say goodbye.

We’re now back on board the MSC Magnifica and already on our way towards Copenhagen. But first: a relaxing sea day ahead. ⚓️🌊

First day in Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪 — and today was all about two of the city’s most famous museums. ✨

We started at the Vasa Museum, home to the almost completely preserved 17th-century warship Vasa. The ship sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was recovered from the seabed more than 300 years later. Seeing the enormous vessel up close, together with all the original details and carvings, is absolutely impressive. ⚓️

Afterwards, we switched from maritime history to Swedish pop culture at the ABBA Museum. 🎶 Here everything revolves around the story of ABBA — from their early years and iconic costumes to original memorabilia, music, stage outfits and interactive exhibits celebrating one of Sweden’s most famous exports.

Two completely different museums, but both definitely worth visiting. ❤️

Today’s stop: Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮 — a day of striking architecture, iconic landmarks and very typical northern weather. 🌬️☁️

We explored the Sibelius Monument in its peaceful park setting, visited the impressive Temppeliaukio Rock Church, carved directly into solid rock, and of course stopped by the beautiful Helsinki Cathedral in the heart of the city.

The weather was not exactly on our side today — grey skies, chilly temperatures and plenty of wind — but Helsinki still had its own special atmosphere and gave us another very different impression of the Baltic region. 🇫🇮✨

Today’s stop: Tallinn, Estonia 🇪🇪 — our final destination in the Baltic States before continuing further north. ✨

We took the shuttle bus into the city and explored Tallinn’s historic center on foot. From the impressive Town Hall Square to the many beautiful churches and winding streets of the Old Town, there was plenty to discover around every corner.

Tallinn really impressed me with its medieval charm, colorful architecture and very special atmosphere. Definitely a city I would love to spend more time in. ❤️

Now we are already back on board the MSC Magnifica and on our way to the next country on this Baltic adventure: Finland 🇫🇮. ⚓️🌊

Third stop of our Baltic cruise: Riga, Latvia 🇱🇻 🚌✨

Today we joined a panoramic tour through the Latvian capital, slowly passing many of Riga’s most important sights and getting a great first impression of the city from the bus.

At three different stops, we had the chance to get off and explore the surroundings on foot for a while — the perfect mix of sightseeing and a little independent discovery. From beautiful historic architecture to modern city views, Riga showed us many different sides in just a few hours.

Now it’s time to continue our Baltic journey. ⚓️🌊

Second stop of our Baltic cruise: Klaipėda, Lithuania 🇱🇹 ⚓️

Today we explored the city completely on our own and discovered Klaipėda step by step on foot. From its historic buildings and quiet streets to the waterfront, little sculptures and maritime details, there was plenty to see along the way.

I really enjoy days like this — no fixed schedule, just walking through a new city and getting a feel for its atmosphere at our own pace. 🚶‍♂️✨

Another Baltic destination discovered, and another day full of new impressions. 🌊

First port of call on our Baltic cruise: Gdynia, Poland 🇵🇱 — and from there we headed straight to beautiful Gdańsk for a full day of exploring on foot. 🏙️✨

We walked through the historic city center and visited some of Gdańsk’s most famous sights, including the Neptune Fountain, the Green Gate, the Golden Gate, the Theatre, St. Mary’s Church and the iconic Crane Gate along the waterfront. There is so much history packed into these colorful streets. ❤️

Unfortunately, the rain caught up with us towards the end of the day, but that did not stop us from making the most of it. ☔️ Sometimes a little Baltic weather is simply part of the experience.

Now we are back on board the MSC Magnifica, warming up and getting ready to sail on to our next destination. ⚓️🌊
