🚴‍♂️💛 Together, we ride stronger.

Last weekend, the EDR crew swapped safety shoes for cycling shoes to take part in the 1000 km for Kom op tegen Kanker. 💛

An unforgettable weekend filled with teamwork, determination, emotion and support — both on and alongside the bike. 💪

Proud of everyone who rode, cheered and contributed to this amazing initiative. Together, we keep moving forward — on and off the bike. 💪

EDR Antwerp Shipyard and Jeco Energies – an electric partnership! ⚡🤝

As from 20 May 2026, EDR Antwerp Shipyard will connect vessels directly to the Port of Antwerp-Bruges power grid ⚓🔌. That means ships in our 4 drydocks and alongside our 2.500 m of layby berths can switch off their auxiliary engines, cutting air emissions 🌍⬇️ for our clients while their vessels are in our care. .

These shore power connections will also help improve a vessel’s CII position 📈 during repair, modification, or maintenance 🛠️.

And this is only the beginning 🚀. It’s the first step in the wider electrification of the shipyard—driving down the ESG footprint of EDR Antwerp Shipyard ♻️ and reducing the environmental impact of shiprepair, -maintenance and retrofitting.

🚴⚓ From drydocks to bike roads — Team EDR keeps moving forward.

This weekend, EDR Antwerp Shipyard proudly participated in the 1000 km for Kom op Tegen Kanker.
Day after day, our riders gave it their all, cycling together in support of a cause that connects and touches so many people. 💛

An incredible effort, powered by teamwork, commitment and solidarity — values that also define us beyond the shipyard.
We are proud of every kilometer ridden and everyone who stood behind this initiative. 👏
