বাংলাদেশ থেকে ভারতে যাওয়া কিংবা ভারত থেকে বাংলাদেশে ফেরার সময় টাকা আর রুপির হিসাব নিয়ে অনেকেই একটু গোলমেলে পড়ে যান। আজকের রেট অনুযায়ী খুব সহজ একটা হিসেব মাথায় রাখলে সেকেন্ডেই আপনি সঠিক পরিমাণ বের করে ফেলতে পারবেন।

আজকের রেট (২৩ মে, ২০২৬):
১ টাকা = ০.৭৮ রুপি (১০০ টাকায় ৭৮ রুপি)
১ রুপি = ১.২৬ টাকা (১০০ রুপিতে ১২৬ টাকা)

বাংলাদেশ থেকে ভারতে যাওয়ার সময় (টাকা থেকে রুপি)আপনার কাছে থাকা বাংলাদেশী টাকা ভাঙিয়ে কত রুপি পাবেন তা জানতে, আপনার টাকার পরিমাণকে ০.৭৮ দিয়ে গুণ করুন।
আপনার কাছে যদি ১০,০০০ টাকা থাকে, তবে: ১০,০০০ গুন ০.৭৮ = ৭,৮০০ রুপি

ভারত থেকে বাংলাদেশে ফেরার সময় (রুপি থেকে টাকা)আপনার কাছে বেঁচে যাওয়া ভারতীয় রুপি ভাঙিয়ে কত বাংলাদেশী টাকা পাবেন তা জানতে, রুপির পরিমাণকে ১.২৬ দিয়ে গুণ করুন।

আপনার কাছে যদি ৫,০০০ রুপি থাকে, তবে: ৫,০০০ গুন ১.২৬ = ৬,৩০০ টাকা।

Many people get a bit confused with the Taka and Rupee calculation when going to India from Bangladesh or returning to Bangladesh from India. Keeping a very simple calculation in mind based on today's rate, you can figure out the exact amount in seconds.

Today's Rate (23 May, 2026):

1 Taka = 0.78 Rupee (78 Rupees for 100 Taka)
1 Rupee = 1.26 Taka (126 Taka for 100 Rupees)

When going to India from Bangladesh (Taka to Rupee)To know how many Rupees you will get by exchanging your Bangladeshi Taka, multiply your amount of Taka by 0.78.Example: If you have 10,000 Taka, then:10,000 X 0.78 = 7,800 Rupees

When returning to Bangladesh from India (Rupee to Taka)To know how many Bangladeshi Taka you will get by exchanging your leftover Indian Rupees, multiply your amount of Rupees by 1.26.Example: If you have 5,000 Rupees, then: 5,000 X 1.26 = 6,300 Taka

Life beside the Sundarbans is not always about beautiful rivers, mangrove forests, and wildlife.
For many locals, it is also a story of survival.

This is Bablu Gazi, a honey collector from the villages near the Sundarbans. While collecting honey deep inside the forest with his team, he was suddenly attacked by a Royal Bengal Tiger after being separated from the group. The tiger clawed his neck and shoulder, but with incredible courage and sheer will to survive, he fought for nearly ten minutes and made it back alive.

Today, he is receiving treatment at Satkhira Medical College Hospital.

Stories like this are part of the reality of the people living around the Sundarbans — where nature gives life, but also tests it every day. Summer in Bangladesh is not easy. The heat hits hard, the days feel long. But our guest from Japan didn’t mind at all.
